Giving Opportunities
ODCS Annual Fund
A Christian education is an investment. A quality Christian educational experience unlocks the potential in every child. You, and they, will reap the benefits. For these reasons, we ask for your prayers and financial help.
As you may know, Open Door Christian School strives to keep tuition at a rate families of all income levels can afford. Because of this, we need sources of income other than tuition to improve our school by purchasing additional curriculum and teaching aids; add supplementary programs; update and repair facilities as needed.
We ask you to do so again by including Open Door Christian School in your charitable giving throughout the year. Please make an investment in the future these young students represent.
Misti Ayers Scholarship Fund
Reverend Jimmy McNeil and his wife, Susan, started The Misti Lynn Ayers Scholarship Fund in 1996. The goal of the fund is to provide assistance with monthly tuition for students who would otherwise be unable to attend Open Door Christian School.
Misti Lynn was born in Arlington, Texas on November 2, 1971 and is the daughter of Sid & Vicki Palmour of Graham, TX. Although Misti lived in Texas, Oklahoma, and Germany, she attained her primary education in Graham. Misti was an active member of Oak Street Baptist Church while she lived in Graham. She graduated seventh in her class from Graham High School in 1990 and attended Texas Tech University graduating cum laude with an engineering degree in 1994. Misti was pursuing her Master’s Degree and working for the Motorola Cooperation in Austin when she died in an automobile accident on August 4, 1995. Now she is with God in Heaven.
Misti sought always to live for Christ and whatever she did, she worked at it with all her heart, as working for the Lord, not for men (Col. 3:23). Although Misti was only 23 years old when she died, her memory remains alive with this scholarship fund.

Daniel Glenn Scholarship Fund
Daniel Glenn was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 26, 1989 where he grew up. He then followed in his father's footsteps and attended Texas A&M University.
Daniel traveled with his job for many years. During this time he met and married Kristin. They continued to travel for Daniel's work until he had the opportunity to settle in Graham, Texas with Kristin and their children. Daniel and his family became active members of Oak Street Baptist Church and Kristin became the 5th grade teacher for Open Door Christian School.
Daniel fought a valiant battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer for two and half years. He was 35 years only when the Lord called him home. Daniel's wife and family know that his life will be lived out through his scholarship fund, helping families send their children to school rooted in the word of Christ. This was his firm belief.
