Miss Holly Hunt is a long-time Grahamite. Holly is single and has no children of her own so she keeps busy loving on other people’s kids. She has a huge heart for our 3 year olds. Open Door is thankful to have her as our PreK-3 Teacher.
Holly graduated from Graham High School and attended Midwestern State University where she graduated with a BS in Education. Holly’s hobbies are reading, scrapbooking and hanging out with family and friends.
Holly stated, “I love the Lord and all that is given to me by Him. I am excited to begin my second year at ODCS and to teach these young minds about God, along with the new curriculum.”
Holly is a member of Highridge Church.
Stephanie Baker is full of love, creativity and excitement. She has worked with children for 27 years. She and her husband, Chris, have 3 boys and 2 girls. She is the perfect teacher to bring out the creativity in your child.
Born in Graham, Mrs. Stephanie has a lot of family in this area. She loves to spend time with her husband, children and extended family. Stephanie is one of the best scrapbookers you’ll ever meet. She even teaches classes to adults on scrapbooking!

Amie Rexroad is an amazing Kindergarten teacher. She is excellent in teaching students higher level thinking skills.
Amie and her husband, Lacy Rexroad III, have lived in Graham for over ten years. They have 2 precious children in Junior High. Their family loves to hang out together. They primarily love game nights, playing kickball and hiking.
Amie shared, “I am looking forward being with these kids, loving them and teaching them about Jesus.”
Amie is a member of Oak Street Baptist Church, where she and her husband volunteer with kid's ministry.
Cindy Blackwell is a 26 year resident of Graham, TX. She is married to Mark Blackwell and is blessed to have 4 children, 3 children in- law, and 9 grandchildren. Cindy worked in the medical profession as an RN for 15 years, but didn’t feel that was her true passion was. She followed God’s call into teaching. She has taught at Open Door for 19 years.
Cindy shares, “Open Door holds a special place in my heart for several reasons. My association with Open Door began 24 years ago when my two youngest children began attending Open Door in preschool and kindergarten. They both graduated from Open Door at the completion of their eighth grade years. I have witnessed the impact of Open Door as a parent and a teacher. I cannot explain fully the ways my children were blessed academically, and more importantly, spiritually during their years at Open Door."

Trisha Hunt is married to C. D. Hunt, Jr. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Hunt graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has been certified in 4th-8th Grade reading and English language arts, EC-4th Grade in general education, and ESL.
Mrs. Hunt taught fourth grade while in San Antonio. They moved back to Graham because they believe it is a wonderful place to live.
Mrs. Hunt is a member of Loving Baptist Church and feels blessed to have a wonderful church family.
Mrs. Pam Wood has been teaching at Open Door for 20 years. She taught in the younger grades before moving to the older classes and settling in fifth grade. Open Door has a very special place in Mrs. Wood's heart since her own daughters are alumnae. She believes that the school offers an exceptional environment, academically as well as spiritually.
Mrs. Wood received a science degree from Oklahoma State University. Of course, science is her favorite subject! In addition to her fifth grade subjects, Mrs. Wood also coordinates the school science fair. She hopes that her students are inspired to love learning and to use their talents for the glory of God.
In her free time, Mrs. Wood enjoys gardening, baking, reading, and spending time with her husband and grandchildren.

Born in Corsicana, TX, Diane Carver moved to Graham at age 13. Diane is married to Glen Carver and together they have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
We first met Diane when her grandson, Christopher, attended Open Door. She eventually became our most dedicated sub for our school. She also volunteered her time quite frequently during the school year to help us with different needs. When our P.E. Teacher position opened up, she had proven from previous years that she is a reliable and dedicated patron of Open Door, so we hired her!
Diane worked in a local public school as an aide and substitute for 9 years. She also worked as a pastor’s secretary for several years.
Mrs. Carver is a member of Abundant Life Center Church and oversees the children’s department.
Mrs. Josefy is married to Richard. They have six children and five grandchildren. She has taught at Open Door for eight years and a total of 15 years in Christian schools. She has a B.S. in Education from Texas A&M and is certified in grades 1-8.
In her spare time, she likes to travel, walk in 5Ks, wear maroon and study up on science and technology. Her favorite thing about Open Door is receiving lots of smiles and hugs from students.

LeAnn has been a Graham resident for eight years, moving back to Texas after traveling and living around the world. She has one daughter who is attending Texas Tech University to study Child Psychology, aiming to work with military children.
All of her travels and experiences have been a blessing in her life, but she stays true to her faith in God wherever she is and whatever she is doing.
LeAnn is a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she is active in children's ministry.

Principal/Administrator - Tim Guice
Mr. Timothy Guice and his wife, April, have two boys. They enjoy family activities outside, such as hiking, fishing, hunting and gardening.
Mr. Guice graduated from Tarleton State University, where he studied history, government and business. He holds a Bachelors and Masters degree. Mr. Guice believes it is important to teach students the value of being able to stand firm in their faith in Christ.
Mr. Guice has been a member and Deacon of Jermyn Baptist Church for many years.
